All the children in P1 - P7 went to the Picky Centre in Kirkwall to join other small schools in Orkney. The children had the opportunity to get to know other children in their age groups and all had a great time.

Ever wondered what the staff do on inservice days? Today we did Philosophy for Children (P4C) training with Dounby School. We all felt it was a good day and are raring to go in both schools using the P4C techniques.
If you would like to know more about P4C please ask or visit www.sapere.org.uk. We may well do a session for any interested adults as well as doing it with the children.
