We had fun making fruit salad. We all worked together to follow the recipe. Using the knives was tricky and we had to be careful. The older children helped the younger children and we all ate together.
Ian was the official taster!

Since August the children have been working together to form a school orchestra. Thanks to Mr Miller and the adults who have been helping with this. Our first performance is at the end of term assembly on Thursday 11th October at 11am.

This term our club is "Outdoor Adventure". The children have been enjoying making dens outside - thanks to the Parent Council again who bought the waterproofs and wellies for the children as it means that the children can get outside much more.

Thanks to everyone who came to help at the beach on 2nd May. We collected 25 bags, plus lots of other bits too. Well done to all the children who found mermaids purses - 101 altogether!

On Thursday 7th March a very strange bunch of characters came to school! We all dressed up as book characters for the day. Everyone brought in books from home that they don't read any more and we all got to take some new books home to enjoy. In the afternoon we all played "Where's Wally?" (can you see Wally in the photo?) and then had a whole school game of hide and seek. The Selkies made their own book covers for imaginary books and the Seals drew themselves as book characters.

We are trying to improve our school grounds. We had an open morning on 29th January 2012 when pupils, staff, parents and people from the community worked together to think about what we would like to be able to do outside. We then had a go at creating some models of what we would like to have in our outside space.
Parent Council have given us some money so that all the children can have wellies and waterproofs to go outside in most weather. We are really looking forward to being outside and having more things to do. Watch this space to find out more!
