Anne Harrison came in to help us work out how we could eat healthily at lunchtime. We had to look at different meals and give them points according to what was in them. We then had to think about how to improve them. Extra challenge - talk to adults at home about eating healthily - use the rising stars booklet to help!
P1 and Nursery children played a game on the Smartboard to make a healthy lunchbox

Anne and Lesley came in to talk to us about Marine Litter and why it is so important to keep the beaches and other areas free from litter. We looked at all the different types of litter and found that that plastic especially is really harmful as it takes so long to degrade.
We also watched these videos to help us remember to keep our oceans free of litter, and that we should all try to help.
