In Philosophy we talked about where we thought the rain comes from. We had some interesting ideas but we didn't know. We now have much more of an idea, after we made a minature world (it needs to be sealed so the weather doesn't escape) where we have already made clouds.

We also made a display to show how the water goes round and round in the water cycle.

We have decorated our class room with big weather symbols that we made ourselves. We are also learning the weather in French so we made French labels (they are in English on the other side too!)

We are learning the colours of the rainbow. We watched this song
and we had a go at playing it on the bellplates

We realised that the song doesn't have the colours in the right order so we had a go at writing our own mnemonics (these help us remember the order). Miss Clements taught us one about Richard III - Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain - but we thought ours were better!

We have even had a real rainbow this week!
